Chocolate and the City

I'm in Toronto with Mr. H and a few friends. We're here on a serious mission - participating in a brunch tour - which has been so delicious. A few of my favorites have included School, Starving Artist, and Aunties and Uncles. My sister-in-law got us a Toronto brunch map, and we've trying to check off a few spots before we return back to Seattle. Yesterday we stopped by Soma, my favorite chocolate spot in the city and I had to refrain from buying every chocolate in the store. Besides eating and drinking, we've mostly been wandering, stopping every mile or so to warm up. I'm glad I brought my woolly socks and fluffy coat, because the weather has been so frigid. Today we went to the Royal Ontario Museum, to see the dinosaur exhibit, and now we are resting up for tonight's adventures. We are off to dinner and then a comedy show at Second City. I'm excited to bring in the new year with lots of laughter, which will hopefully be a reflection of the year to come. I've posted a few photos below, mostly of chocolate, and few of the city. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

    1. I know. January, so far, has been worse than December for chocolate. Gotta eat the good stuff while you can.

  5. Aunties and Uncles has always been a fave of mine. Saving Grace is another brilliant brunch spot to check out next time you're around. And Soma! So great! My man spoils me with their chocolate when he's on work in big T. The hazelnut bars are fantastic. Glad you had a good time in my former home city. Happy new year to you too!
