Pumpkin Cream Cheese Loaf

recipe adapted from

4 ounces cream cheese softened
1/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Cream together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar. Next, add the eggs (one at a time), then the pumpkin.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.

4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet and stir until just combined. Do not over mix.

5. Bake in a greased loaf pan for one hour.
