Cadillac Margarita

There's nothing like a good margarita to remind you of that amazing trip you had in Mexico last summer. Or maybe you don't want to remember last summer's trip to Margaritaville? I love Margaritas. They are so good. I went to a party. There was a theme. Carnitas! What's a carnita you ask? It's a pork thing. A braised or roasted pork, shredded and served in taco shells with all the fixins' thing. I'm more of a beans and cheese girl. I passed on the pork and made up for it in margaritas!

CADILLAC MARGARITA RECIPE
makes 5 - 6 drinks

INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1 cup lime juice
1 cup water
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup Grand Marnier
1 - 2 cups of ice

In a large pitcher, combine the sugar, lime juice, and water. Stir with a spoon until the sugar has dissolved.

In a food processor, add the lime mixture, tequila, Grand Marnier, and ice. Blend until desired consistency.
